"You're not God or my father or my boss!" - Joe Pesci
Battle of the Bagels was a conflict in July 2019 between former Hollywood star Joe Pesci and people at a bagel shop.
Background[]
Joe Pesci was a famous Hollywood actor that played in iconic roles of older 1980 and 90s movies such as Goodfellas, My Cousin Vinny, and the Lethal Weapon series. In the recent decades, he hasn't appeared in much major movies and Gen Z probably doesn't even know who is. Lately, Joe Pesci has had more than several aggressive altercations (mostly in 7-11s). This particular altercation in the bagel shop gained him a spotlight once more that had lasted no more than one week.
The bagel shop is a bagel shop, it serves bagels to people that want bagels to eat.
Conflict[]
Footage taken of the Battle only start in the middle of Joe Pesci throwing a hardball at "women in general", ranting irrelevant shit at a female customers. A fellow dude stepped in to ask him to calm down. Pesci focused the attack to the dude and backed him into the corner, asking for him to square up. A third chap in a blue shirt behind him had enough of Pesci chatting shit and told him to shut the fuck up. Angered Pesci asked the chap to square up, which the chap followed with ground pounding Pesci into submission.
Surrounded by enemies and humiliated by a Chad, Pesci throws his bagel on the ground and walks away. He is quickly triggered yet again after a female employee laughs, picks up the bagel and talks mad shit against "Oiya Women" following by more verbal attacks on the "Oiyas". Pesci leaves but is promptly intervened by police outside.
Aftermath[]
Sometime after the altercation, revelations had been given to social media that Pesci was a male chauvinist that had often make large rants against women and black people. A week and half after the altercation, the masses stopped speaking of the man, who is now roaming the streets while the next big internet meme or iconic person comes to continue the phenomenon.
