Smoking Rat was a rodent from the US that became famous in 2018 for smoking cigarettes and speaking with a robotic-like voice.
Life[]
Sometime in the winter of 2018, Smoking Rat decided to pick up a pack of cigs to counter the stress of day-to-day life. He instantly became both famous for this and addicted to cigarettes; reportably smoking from 2-3 packs a day. Because of the large amount of smoking for his body, he could no longer squeak anymore by May 2019 due to breathing issues that required him to be installed an electronic squeaker that translated into english.

Smoking Rat was taken into the hospital after collapsing during a film shoot on August 15, 2019. It was discovered that he had developed Stage III lung cancer. Although estimated to have about 4 months to live, this dropped soon after as Smoking Rat increased his smoking intake to 4 packs per day due to the depression and stress. On September 9, 2019, Rat made his last recorded speech, saying "Change Da World. My Final Message. Goodb ye."
On the night of September 10th, Rat was found unconcious in a Philadelphia alleyway. He was not breathing and unresponsive to CPR. By the time EMTs arrived, Rat was declared dead on the scene at the strike of midnight, September 11th. A week later, a small memorial service was held in the same alley.
